Thorkild (left) is 97. Jorgen is 86 (I don't know how old the soldiers are). Both are from Copenhagen. For most of their lives they used a bicycle to get around their city, but these days they're confined to nursing homes where they spend most of their time.
I went to Copenhagen recently to meet a man who, with the help of specially adapted cargo bikes, is making a huge impact on the lives of Thorkild and Jorgen, as well as thousands of other elderly Danes and Norwegians.
Read all about and, if you'd like to get it started in your city, I urge you to get in touch with Ole!
