A New Greek Festival

We’re really excited to be involved in the inaugural Benaki Festival, being held from 8-12 October 2021 in the village of Kardamyli, on the Greek Peloponnese.

60 folks are coming to the first edition, and we’ve now sold out of all 24 spots we were allocated. What a week it will be.

Guests will spend their mornings at the former home of Paddy and Jane Leigh Fermor, listening to Hellenophile speakers like Stephen Fry, Bettany Hughes and Victoria Hislop. Each afternoon we will head off into the hills on e-bikes and on foot to explore the villages, ancient sites and olive groves surrounding Kardamyli. Evenings will be enjoyed in tavernas beside the Messinian Gulf. We might sip ouzo. Local wines are to die for.

You can read more about the experience here, although please don’t try to book for 2021. And if you missed out this year, feel free to get in touch about the 2022 edition so we can put your name down now. Or if you just want to visit the Mani with us, you can do that too.

Have a great weekend
